The LC Valley is a melting pot of recreation and fun. Golf year-round at one of the four golf courses (two private and two public), or take a trip up the stunning and unforgettable Hells Canyon on the Snake River. Both the Snake and Clearwater Rivers are perfect for jet boating, whitewater rafting, swimming, skiing, fishing, and sailing. We enjoy warm and sunny days throughout the year, more so than many northwest locations. Walk, bike or jog year-round on the paved levee that encircles the banks of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers.

The Lewiston Independent School District consists of seven elementary, two junior highs, a traditional senior high and an alternative school with enrollment of nearly 5,200 students. The Clarkston School District consists of four elementary, one middle school, and one high school with enrollment of nearly 2,700 students.

Higher learning facilities are also close-by. Lewis Clark State College is located in Lewiston and provides Bachelor and Technical Degrees. Walla Walla Community College is located in Clarkston and offers Associates and Technical Degrees in many fields. Both are well-located and offer excellent educators and facilities.

Two major land grant universities are within a 40 minute commute. The University of Idaho is located in Moscow Idaho, and Washington State University is located in Pullman Washington.
